Shopify web push

The channel your shoppers join in one tap

No email address. No phone number. A visitor allows notifications once, and from then on you can reach them on their desktop or phone — with a message you can trace all the way to an order.

The gap

Most of your traffic leaves without giving you anything

They did not buy, and they did not hand over an address. There is nothing left to follow up with — unless you asked for something cheaper than an email.

Without push

  • A popup asks for an email, and most visitors close it.
  • The cart they abandoned is anonymous — no address, no follow-up.
  • Restocks and price cuts go unannounced to the people who wanted them.
  • Sends land in a promotions tab, if they land at all.

With Qpushly

  • One tap subscribes them — nothing to type, nothing to verify.
  • Abandoned carts get a reminder on the device they were browsing on.
  • Restocks and price drops alert the exact shoppers who looked.
  • Every send reports impressions, clicks, orders and revenue.
Inside the app

Everything sits inside your Shopify admin

Qpushly is an embedded app — same navigation, same components, same place you manage everything else. Nothing to log into separately.

  • A dashboard with revenue, subscribers, sends and impressions over 7 to 60 days
  • Five automations you switch on individually, each with up to three reminders
  • A campaign editor with image, click URL, audience and scheduling
  • A subscriber list you can filter by browser, OS and device
  • CSV import and export, so your list is never locked in

What it does

Five automations and a campaign tool

Automations fire on real store events. Campaigns are for the moments you decide.

Opt-in

The shortest subscribe in ecommerce

A visitor allows notifications once and they are on your list — tied to that browser, on that device. No address to type, no confirmation email, nothing to verify. Put the invite behind a button anywhere in your theme, or let the embed handle it.

Abandoned cart

Reminders on a timer you set

A cart goes quiet, and up to three reminders go out on the delays you choose. Recovering it stops the rest.

Tell the people who looked

Qpushly remembers which products each subscriber viewed. When a variant returns, they hear about it.

Attribution

Every send has a number next to it

Clicks carry a campaign tag into the cart, so when the order lands it is attributed back. Impressions, clicks, orders, revenue and conversion rate — per campaign and per automation.

Price drop

When it gets cheaper

Qpushly stores the price a shopper saw. Drop below it and the people watching that product get told.

Looked, did not buy

A nudge for the product someone spent time on and left behind — separate from the cart sequence.

Setup

Three steps, no developer

Step 01

Install the app

From the Shopify App Store. It appears in your admin sidebar like any other embedded app.

Step 02

Turn on the app embed

Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → enable Qpushly, then Save. This is what registers the service worker on your storefront.

Step 03

Switch on an automation

Start with welcome notifications, then abandoned cart. Subscribers start arriving as soon as visitors accept the prompt.

Step 2 is the one people miss. The user guide walks through it with screenshots.

Questions

The things merchants ask first

Do shoppers have to give an email address?

No. That is the whole point of web push. A visitor taps “Allow” in the browser prompt and they are subscribed — no form, no email address, no phone number, nothing to type. It is the shortest opt-in you can offer, which is why push lists tend to grow faster than email lists on the same traffic.

Which browsers and devices can receive the notifications?

Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Opera on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. Safari on macOS is supported. On iPhone and iPad, web push only works if the shopper has added your store to their home screen — Apple requires an installed web app. Qpushly records the browser, OS and device for every subscriber so you can see the mix in your own list.

What do I have to do to install it?

Install from the Shopify App Store, then enable the Qpushly app embed in your theme (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds). That second step is not optional — the embed is what registers the service worker on your storefront. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes and needs no code.

Will this slow my storefront down?

The embed adds three small deferred scripts. They do not block rendering, and the service worker only runs when the browser has idle time. No external tracker, no third-party geolocation lookup, no font or CSS request from another origin.

How does Qpushly know a cart was abandoned?

The embed sends a snapshot of the cart to your app whenever it changes. If a cart goes quiet for ten minutes and the visitor is a subscriber, the abandoned-cart automation queues its first reminder. Recovering the cart marks it recovered and stops the rest of the sequence.

Can I bring subscribers over from another push provider?

Yes — Import subscribers takes a CSV export from your previous provider. Endpoints that are still valid keep receiving notifications; the import report tells you how many rows were imported, updated and skipped, and why.

What data does Qpushly store about my shoppers?

The push endpoint and its keys, plus browser, OS, device, language and timezone, and — where your store provides them — email, phone, city and country. It also stores cart contents and viewed products so the automations can reference them. All of it is deleted when you uninstall and Shopify sends the shop-redact webhook. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
