How the money side works
How does billing work?
Through Shopify. When you pick a plan you approve it in your Shopify admin, and the charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice alongside everything else. Qpushly never sees or stores a card.
Can I change or cancel the plan myself?
Yes. Upgrading, downgrading and cancelling are all done from Shopify's own plan page, which Qpushly links to from the dashboard and from Settings. You do not need to contact support and you do not need to reinstall.
What happens to my subscribers if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Your subscriber list stays intact — features that are not in the lower plan simply stop being available until you upgrade again.
What happens if I uninstall?
Shopify stops the recurring charge. Your access tokens are removed straight away, and the rest of your data is deleted when Shopify sends the shop-redaction request that follows an uninstall.
Is there a free trial on the paid plan?
Yes — Shopify's standard 7-day trial applies before the first charge. The Free plan itself is not a trial; it does not expire.
